Reach Cancún is a wonderful experience where you can see that regardless of culture, language, or location, God moves in marvelous ways! I was personally impacted by the work in front of the nightclubs, by how thirsty people are to hear a message of love and challenge in their lives. Seeing how they are touched by the plays, the different forms of creative evangelization, and through the sermons on the beach is a heartwarming experience. No less important, the beautiful times of worship and training we had as a team, where we deeply felt God, were totally uplifting. Glory to God for those who join the challenge of going where God calls!

In Cancun, we had incredible experiences. I can personally share one of several experiences I had.
In the first few days, we met someone who came to see what the famous “miracle chair” was. At that moment, he approached us out of curiosity and began to ask, “Why were we doing that?” “What was the purpose of it?” And more questions.
Over the course of several conversations with this person, he told us that he was the “black sheep,” as he defined it, of his family. At that moment, we began to talk about the forgiveness, love, and grace that God can give us.
He agreed to sit in that miracle chair to pray for his life. He broke down in tears and wanted to follow Christ.
We continued talking for a while, and he couldn’t express his emotions other than crying and saying thank you. And that he felt God’s love.

My experience in Cancun was life changing, and something I will remember forever. Meeting life long friends from across the world with Christ being the center of the friendship makes it so much more special. I learned about how to spread the Gospel and grew my relationship with Jesus so much and trusting Him with everything. Being able to share the Gospel and my personal story with Jesus as a vessel for Jesus to save other people’s lives was amazing. I will never forget the look of the people’s eyes that I was talking to knowing that Jesus was fighting for their hearts. I will cherish these memories and growth from God forever.

What began as a day of disconnection during a prayer walk during one of the days of the Mission Experience completely changed after we paused to pray as a team. That moment of obedience refocused us and opened the door for God to move through meaningful conversations, bold acts of love sharing the gospel, and a powerful play that touched hearts, including mine. We reminded each other that it all begins with prayer.

Last year I had the opportunity to participate in the Commission, and it was a point of stillness in my walk with God. For a long time, I was running away from the missionary call the Lord had placed in my heart. I felt fear, doubt, and resistance. But God, in His patience, continued to confront me and speak to me.
The Commission not only helped me better understand God’s mission, but also stirred within me a deep desire to serve Him with all that I am. Today I no longer run away: I want to follow Him and serve Him, wherever He calls me.
